We spent a little bit of time this morning working out the things I could do while looking down.  We thought, what about the High Line?  You are elevated and there is a lot to see down and around you. We ger ready to head off to 14th Street.

I’m not in any pain, although the constant need to look down and the regimen of eye drops is tiring. I’m on four different types of eye drops and they are all due at different times. Mardi downloads an app with reminders built it. She sets it up and we pack up the drugs, a pair of sunglasses and head out.

It is a perfect day, bright and sunny and the High Line is not as bust as on the weekend when we’ve visited in the past. We take a slow walk and I enjoy the different perspective.

We walk the full length of the High Line and then return to 16th Street and walk around SoHo. We visit the Apple store and generally look around the shops.

During our walk we grabbed some chocolate milk and donuts and stop and eat that along the way.

Its hard work walking and looking down at the pavement the whole time, so we call ti a day and head home for the night.
