After a bit of a sleep in we got up to a grey and cool day. Mardi’s chest was still pretty congested so our plans included a visit to the chemist for some more drugs and a few more Christmas windows.

Before that though I went for a walk around the streets, a bit of a tour of streets around 55th to 59th along Madison and Park.

I was planning on then walking across to 9th Avenue and 34th but didn’t nuke it.

I headed home and we both then headed out to the Rockefeller centre to return some purchases. Mardi ordered some stuff on amazon that wasn’t quite right, so it was easier to go directly to the stores.

We then headed up town to Bloomingdales.

I rushed home to grab my camera and we met up again behind the massive tree at the rock.

We then made our way to Bloomingdales for a light late lunch, early dinner. The cafe st Bloomingdales is quite pleasant to sit for a while and watch the street traffic wander by.

We then wandered around Bloomingdales for a while, before heading out to check out the windows. Another fantastic display of windows. Check out the photos and videos. Sadly despite Mardi asking nicely some people just didn’t get out of the way. They weren’t even looking at the window.

We then worked our way across to Barneys. More cool windows.

As we were looking st windows the grey skies turned to drizzle, which then quickly turned to rain, which got heavier and heavier.

During our travels we’d visited a number of chemists to try and get some drugs for Mardi. We eventually succeeded at Walgreens just around the corner from home. When we get home though they aren’t in the bag. Damn. I head back out into the rain and thankfully the packet is still sitting on the counter.

I get home, wetter then earlier and we settle in for the night.
