Rain continues to pour as Ne Yorkers rejoice. We duck and run for The Met. It\u2019s always warm and dry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We first grab a quick lunch. Some nice sushi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then explore the American wing. We haven\u2019t often explored this area in detail. We generally explore the Egyptian, Roman and Greek exhibits. So today as we make our way to the American wing we walk through the Medieval English wing. Lots of armour and chain mail. How did they fight carrying all this metal around! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then explore the American Hall. Internal architecture and furniture across the times. As well as a Frank Lloyd Wright room<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We continue exploring and meandering through the halls. The space inside the Met is just massive and you can easily become lost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We eventually find our way out and have a Quick Look through the shop before heading home on the bus. We\u2019ve made much greater use of buses this trip. we know the subway very well and we now have connected buses. Whether it\u2019s across town or down 5th, we\u2019ve worked out some great bus routes that have save us lots of walking, especially when it is cold, dark and wet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As we get home, our last night, we get stuck into packing. Tomorrow we are off to Bermuda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    So we grab a quick dinner in and get stuck into the massive packing job ahead of us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
