Our last full day is a sea day. The skipper has put the foot down and we are en route to New York. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As our trip winds down we take it fairly easy. A lazy morning of reading. Mardi is lot more careful with the hair dryer today. A few days ago she set the fire alarm off. This prompted a call from the first officer and a follow up visit from security to check on us. All is fine and the Munro commotion is over in a few minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today no such commotion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hair done we head out to lunch. A quick stop in the bar for some water before enjoying lunch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The churn of the sea is evident from our window seat in Hudson\u2019s. I\u2019m feeling a little sicky. Nothing too bad, but the ship is certainly doing its best to curb my stomach as much as it is churning the ocean. The vastness is mesmerising. Ever changing and no different at the same time. Water as far as you can see and we just keep crushing through it. The swell rolls in and the shop lifts and falls as the swell passes, the ship tilting a little at the height of the swell as the westerly wind tries to knock it over. The shop simply settles into the next swell. An endless dance of up, side to side, down and repeat. We sit and watch as if in a trance for a while. So much to see, but so little to see as well. It\u2019s awesome <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After lunch we enjoy a hot chocolate before trying our hand at deal or no deal again. No luck for us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do a little packing and have a bit of a snooze before heading out to dinner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After dinner we enjoy a few drinks in the Penrose atrium. We also enjoy the best show so far on board. A show where the entertainment team mime scenes of well known movies. It\u2019s so bad. It\u2019s good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
