It is New York Marathon day today, we head out and watch some of the race. We head across to third Avenue to watch the runners. We do this by first going to Grand Central and then catching a subway across town.

The crowd line is chocker-block with well-wishers with a number of signs. I locate a random sign on the ground and hold it up in support of the runners. I have no idea what it said. I joke to my Brother in law later on the phone that the sign read “Run, Forest. Run!”

We then wander back into Central Park and wah come of the people finishing the race. The walk for us was much easier than their task.We enjoy dinner afterwards at the Park Avenue Tavern.
