After such a long and delayed arrival we had a pretty lazy first day. We changed hotel rooms. Thanks Lauren for the wonderful service at the AKA and the upgrade to a penthouse suite. Nice. Thankfully we hadn’t really unpacked so the move up wasn’t too hard. Plus the new room is fantastic. More space, separate bedroom and a comfy lounge with massive TV. Not that we watch much, but the morning shows are a bit of fun…the gaggle of people talking over each other.
So wee headed out and sorted a SIM card for the phone
Had some Shake Shack for lunch and visited B and H Electronics. This store never ceases to amaze me. It’s massive, the product delivery conveyor belt system is so cool. I ventured back into the camera owning world now my eye has settled down a bit. Stay tuned for some photos. A nice new Leica T System, very cool.
It’s pretty cold, didn’t get above zero, so after a bit of wandering we headed back to the hotel.
Mardi then went off to her favourite shop, Sephora, while I sorted out the new camera.
We went to John’s Pizza for dinner, scored a cheesecake as well and headed home.
Minus 5 tomorrow is the forecast high. The subways are warm, so maybe a few trips around. You never know.
