Today, I had the opportunity to attend the first day of the CSUN (California State University, Northridge) conference, and it was an incredibly valuable experience. The conference, which focused on the latest developments and advancements in the field of assistive technology, provided me with a wealth of knowledge and insights that I can apply to my work.

The conference over the coming days will featured a wide range of keynote speakers who were experts in their fields. They will share their insights and experiences on a variety of topics related to assistive technology, providing valuable information that I can apply to my work.

Todays speaker was engaging and knowledgeable, and I left the session feeling inspired and motivated. We spent the day looking at ways of design beautiful and accessible mobile platforms. Some really cool insights into how to design simply and creatively to ensure an equitable experience for the blind or low vision user.

The conference also provides an excellent opportunity to network with other professionals in the field of assistive technology. Today I had the chance to meet and exchange ideas with people from various backgrounds and companies. It was great to learn from their experiences and perspectives, and I made many valuable connections that will be beneficial in the future.

In the evening I had dinner with two wonderful colleagues from Humanware. We enjoyed dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. A short walk from the Marriott. It was great to catch up with Bruce And David and we had a great night.

Day 2 tomorrow, looking forward to it.
