While the snow has given way to sun, Mardi’s illness has moved in. She’s slept for the best part of 16 hours, with intervals of coughing fits.

It’s our next to last full day in NYC, so I have some errands to run. A few returns of some clothes we bought and  some granola to take home.

Other than that I mostly spend the day with Mardi.

At around 4pm, we attempt a quick walk outside to get some fresh air. We visit the New York Public Library gift shop, usually a highlight of our visit. Their selection of gifts is always interesting and we buy a calendar each year for home. After about ten minutes, Mardi is exhausted, so we head back home.

Left over Italian for dinner and another early night.
