After some fantastic weather some showers roll through Manhattan today.
We take the subway to the time Warner Centre at Columbus Circle and spend the day in doors. We wander the shops slowly and look around, again Halloween is everywhere to be seen.
We enjoy a delicious lunch at the food court. Its not your ordinary food court, Per Se is just a stone’s throw from where we are sitting. We enjoy lunch at Bouchon Bakery. A delightful selection of lobster, scallops and desserts.
After lunch we go for a walk. It is still raining as we wander around, so we hurry between stops and stick to the subway wherever possible. We also visit a specialist magnifying store so I can get some magnifiers to help me with reading.
We head home as the rain sets in.
