Wednesday presented us with a miserable day. The temperature didn’t get above 4 degrees and it rained and sleeted all day. There were also some occasional snow flurries.

We were planning a trip to Brooklyn cemetery, but once we were out for a bit we turned around and came home

It was pouring with rain and freezing. We instead opted for a burger from a local Irish pub a block away.

We then had an afternoon in. Catching up on washing, blogging, news from home and some good old American TV.

An early day tomorrow as we are planning on getting up early to grab a good viewing spot for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.

It was also very sad to learn of the death of Phillip Hughes, an Australian test cricketer. As a cricket tragic I am deeply saddened by Hughes’ death and the freakish way he died. Sad for everyone in the cricketing family.

🤞 Don’t miss out on blog updates!
