After a hectic first two weeks in the Big Apple we needed a break. We planned nothing on Sunday and essential sat around in our PJs all day.

The weather was perfect for this kind of day as well.

Three degrees, overcast with showers and a howling wind. It seems winter has finally arrived in NYC. Time to break out the hats, gloves and over coats.

We popped out st about 3pm to do some errands, Mardi had some returns to go to Sephora and her Fitbit fell to pieces (after about three years) so I wandered up to Best Buy for a new one. She prefers the One, not a wrist based watch thingy.

We grabbed hot chocolates and sat in Times Square for a little while before heading back in. We had left over Grimaldi’s pizza for dinner.

A big week ahead is on the cards. Thanksgiving, movies, dinner at Eleven Madison, Black Friday, Grand Central behind the scenes tour and some indoor museum walks given the weather. Tomorrow’s high, Monday, 3 degrees.
