Day one is usually our admin day, the day we sort ourselves out. We sleep in after the long journey we ae exhausted. We then head out in the afternoon and sort out a sim card for our phone. We do this at Shake Shack. Apart from being tired and a bit jet lagged, we are starving. We grab some late lunch and sit at the rear of the restaurant as we do some research con a sim card deal. The companies are forever changing deals for visitors, so we work out which deal is best for us.
There is still some snow on the ground here and there, but it has mostly melted. We stay local as we get some supplies for our room.
We secure our sim card, do a little shopping and head back to our room.
We head over the road to the Sports Bar for some snacks and a drink in the evening as we set about planning our next few days.
Tomorrow, we hit the streets.
