March 2006

We took a day after our conference in LA to visit Hollywood.

We did all of the usual things people do with limited time. We walked the strip, Hollywood Boulevard. I must admit to being disappointed. Aside from the stars on the ground, and we saw a few well known names. The shops were basically rip off souvenir shops, tattoo parlours, smoke and tobacco dealers and strip joints.

The street was lined with look a like movie characters. We happened across a group of villains: Freddy Kruger, Jason, and a few other weird looking characters.

We walked to a vantage point to see the Hollywood sign, ate dinner at Bubba Gump and walked Rodeo Drive.

All in a day!

We then headed off Denver, we had more animal shelters to visit.
