After a busy day yesterday on the road, we take it a little easier today. We wander 5th Avenue and visit the Lindt Store, grabbing some chocolates for snacks in our room.
We then find ourselves in the financial district again as we catch up with Bob and Cathy and enjoy Italian again for lunch! This time we go to Harry’s, a family style Italian restaurant in the area.
We sit and chat with Bob and Cathy and catch up on our year. It is always great to see them and exchange our experiences, thoughts and goings on from the previous year.
We leave them late afternoon and head home for a break. We have a stage show tonight, Network. Bryan Cranston plays the lead and the play is absolutely enthralling. It sticks true to the movie and original storyline as we watch Cranston devolve on stage as his world collapses. So much of this play plays true today and the messages around media manipulation are as true now as they were 50 years ago.
