Seven flights

Six cities

Five hotels

Two train rides

One long car trip

Canberra – Sydney – California – Boston – NYC – Boston – Drummondville – Montreal – Toronto – Dallas – Sydney – Canberra.

And my 13 days in North America comes to an end. A brutal end, with a seventeen hour flight from Dallas to Sydney, not to mention getting to Dallas from Toronto first, 3.5 hours and then from Sydney to Canberra, another 90 minutes.

A great drive from Boston to Drummondville and then Montreal in Canada.

A fun train ride from Boston to NYC and back.

Overall a very worthwhile trip, combining work and a few days off here and there, but one that was non stop. I arrive home exhausted. I do want to remember and mention the caribou meet and greet and assists at the various airports on this trip, thank you. As a person with a vision impairment it gives men confidence to travel alone, knowing that there are experienced and willing people at our airports to offer help. The highlight being back here on one soil in Sydney. Two Qantas staff, Linda and Caitlin, were absolute gems getting from QF8 in the international terminal across to the lounge in the domestic terminal in record time. Thank you.
