Today we head uptown to the Fashion Institute. There is a Pink exhibition, not the performer, the colour.  We wander the vast collection, which showcases how pink has been used through the ages and in popular culture. It is a very fascinating exhibition, with lots of interesting and fun facts and stories about the colour.

Afterwards we head across to Hudson yards and see the Vessel.

We then walk the Highline, which starts at Hudson Yards, around 34th Street and we walk all the way to the end or start as the case may be! 14th Street. There are a number of interesting artworks along the way, including a number of very anti Donald Trump statues and murals.

Once we reach 14th Street we look at each other and its obvious, another visit to Bosie is on the cards. So we wander down to 4th Street and work our way across to Morton Street.

We spend a delightful couple of hours in Bosie: as we always do. We chat, laugh and loose ourselves in our phones as we explore more things to do for the rest of the trip and sip tea.

As always we must drag ourselves away to leave, it’s always hard. Our little oasis away from everything: our cares, our worries slip away, we immerse ourselves in each other’s company, something hard to do in a city of 11 Million, but we do it and Bosie allows us to.

Afterwards we head up to 42nd and 5th Avenue and explore the library. It is beautifully lit at night and I take some photos I’m pretty happy with. We spend an age in the shop, always full of interesting bits and pieces.

We skip dinner, we are still full from our visit to Bosie and so walk home along 42nd before turning into 6th and working our way to 44th and home.
