Little weekends away have become the norm in a COPVID recovering world.

Check out my other short blogs, Sydney, Uluru.

This time it was Hobart, with my brother and his wife.

We spent four days eating, walking, driving, visiting all parts of Hobart and south East Tasmania’s rugged coastline. The food was great: Dier Makr, Mona, Aloft and Landscape. The whiskey better: Sullivan’s Cove. The coastline spectacular in all of its ruggedness: the Dog line, Devil’s Kitchen and Eaglehawk Neck. Salamanca Markets are always fun as are some of the towns, vineyards and shops around Hobart and surrounding districts. Mount Wellington is freezing! Prepare yourself for dramatic weather changes. All in all a great little place to visit.
